There are two things in this world one does not want to be left behind in namely going to heaven and lagging in technological innovation. Having ticked the former, MTZ deliberately chose to technologically sprint in spreading the gospel through church unusual in the latter. This involves doing church the unconventional way, in cyberspace for the tech savvy niche and those that cannot genuinely attend services.
Mount Zion Christian Center is one organisation that has not lagged in the use of technology to reach the hungry in spirit for the gospel. There is now, no excuse for not attending church or bible study sessions physically due to busy work or business travel schedules or any other uncontrollable circumstances because MTZ just launched church unusual which compresses church into your pocket.
A state of the art digital application compatible with both apple and android mobile devices was successfully launched. The application is currently available on google play and the app stores.
Church Founder and President, Pastor Bruce Msidi advised his congregation that the app was now live an available on both google play and app stores.
Complexity of the App
This application will allow one book in for prayer requests, register for baptism and a spectrum of church training, to check what is on the horizon for church programs, live streaming and other media functionalities to mention but a few.
“You have no excuse not to read daily scripture for the week as you have the option of playing it in audio over and over, so that it sticks,” he said.
The church main choir Proclaim Worship Group dropped a single dubbed Deeper which he urged the congregation to access from the app.
We are using technology to enhance a greater sense of community that doesn’t demand proximity. Proximity isn’t required for community anymore! The Mount Zion app enables you to communicate, commune and connect. #ChurchUnusual
MTZ carried on its social media page
Doing church in cyberspace should not replace the need for brethren to gather as prescribed by the bible. This tool is designed more for those that can not genuinely be in service and for those that wish to grow spiritually and catch up on what they missed out on. The need for physical communion can not be overemphasized, a church elder said on the sidelines.
So the next time one thinks they cannot attend church for some reason beyond their comprehension, worry more about having enough data or rather be in a WiFi hotspot because live stream and recorded sermons are available on the app. Its as easy as searching for Mount Zion Christian Center in play stores. Download the App now.
